Measurement and Design Technician (m/f/d)

We are looking to strengthen our team

SIM-TEX® GmbH, based in Krefeld, specializes in flexible insulation systems for industry and plant engineering. For our clients, we develop and manufacture custom insulation pads and jackets that are precisely tailored to technical facilities, machinery, and components.

To strengthen our team, we are seeking a dedicated Measurement and Design Technician (m/f/d) who can confidently assess technical requirements, take precise measurements, and develop custom solutions using 2D and 3D CAD programs.

Your responsibilities

As a Measurement and Design Technician, you are an important part of our project execution. You will record the structural and technical conditions directly on-site at the customers location and lay the foundation for custom-fit insulation systems.

Your tasks include:

Taking measurements on-site at our customers locations

Attending customer appointments throughout Germany and in neighboring EU countries

Recording technical facilities, components, and installation scenarios

Designing and developing custom solutions

Working with 2D and 3D CAD programs

Coordinating technical details with internal contacts

Preparing data for manufacturing and implementation

What you bring to the table

For this position, we are looking for a reliable individual with technical understanding, a precise working method, and a passion for custom solutions. Experience in design, technical measurement, or CAD is an advantage.

Desirable qualifications:

Technical understanding and spatial awareness

Experience in using 2D and/or 3D CAD programs

Careful, structured, and independent way of working

Willingness to travel for on-site customer appointments

Friendly and professional demeanor with customers

Team spirit and a sense of responsibility

Class B drivers license
