Your mission
You will have technical product responsibility for the entire portfolio of ballistic protection systems
You will work closely with the sales, R&D, manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance departments in the area of product development and maintenance
You will manage the interface between technology, sales, and government customers
You will create technical product requirements and specifications in accordance with various ballistic standards and textile components for portfolio and project products
You will accompany and document testing, certification, and product approval processes
You will analyze the market and competition to identify new trends, materials, and protection concepts, and accompany product strategy and life cycle management
You will support sales from a technical perspective, including product training, bid support, and participation in trade fairs
Your profile
You have a degree in engineering (e.g., textile/materials engineering, mechanical engineering, safety engineering) or a comparable qualification
You have several years of professional experience in product management or in the development of ballistic protection systems, textile technology, or composite materials
You have in-depth knowledge of ballistic testing procedures, standards, and materials science
You are experienced in dealing with approval bodies and testing laboratories.
You have very good written and spoken German and English skills.
You are willing to travel nationally and internationally.
A strong technical understanding combined with business acumen, strong communication skills, a solution-oriented approach, and a confident manner with customers and partners round off your profile.
