Product Development Project Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across all phases of the product lifecycle, from concept to post-launch improvements.

Plan and control projects, including objectives, scope, deliverables, resources, budget, milestones, and risk management.

Ensure projects meet performance, quality, cost, and time-to-market targets, securing robust industrialization and market introduction.

Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and obsolescence management for products in series life.

Facilitate communication and decision-making among stakeholders and external partners, resolving conflicts and aligning priorities.

Apply and improve project management standards, tools, and processes, ensuring complete and compliant documentation.

Provide clear reporting on project status, KPIs, risks, and decisions to management and governance bodies.

Your profile:

Masters degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field; additional certification in Project Management (PMI, IPMA, Prince2, Agile) is a plus

5+ years of experience in project management in an industrial environment, ideally in product development

Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary projects across design, industrialization, manufacturing, logistics, and market introduction

Experience with series life-cycle management (continuous improvement, cost reduction, obsolescence) is an advantage

Strong understanding of project management principles, product development processes, and manufacturing constraints

Knowledge and practices of AI tools is an asset

Skilled in project management tools and structured problem-solving

Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to motivate cross-functional teams and manage trade-offs

Highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented with strong customer and market focus

Fluent in English; position based in Tuttlingen with occasional travel
